Yesterday was just like any other days..but since there was F1 in monte carlo..it somehow became different.

Lately, i've been sleeping early...YES! u didnt read wrongly..i meant early. For the whole semester I've been sleeping at 3-4am everyday..then came a day where i had to go to the 2 days 1 night penang trip. My sleeping clock suddenly changes.. now, by 12midnight i have difficulties to keep my eyes open.

 

Just like tat day when i was suppose to watch the qualifying with together with my bf. For him, of course it started 30mins earlier than here..it says 11pm on the tv ad but then it stated to be 12am when my honey checked for me on some tv guide site on the internet. Anyway, i was already pissed for waiting..national tv sucks max!

 

I watched Q1, half of Q2 i fell asleep on my sis bed.. then i woke up again n i just walked to my own room and drop a few msgs to my honey tat am going off to bed cos my eyes are closing..n i could barely keep them open! *shake head*

 

On the race day, i've decided to go watch it LIVE. Where to? In some nearby cafe near my place of course. My fav hangout place '2046'

yea..me n my numbers..hehehe

 

ok.stop crapping..

 

i went out with my sis n mother. went in and looked for a fengshui table where i can i get the best view of the big projector screen. Order honey greentea and a choc moist cake with a scoop of icecream. At tat time, it was 13 mins before the race.

Chat for awhile then had full concentration on the screen. There were 3 guys together with their wives and kids on the front table watching the race too. How exciting..i wonder if i would end up like them in the near future..hmm

 

it was 1 hours so race..and all we did was sat there till the race ended.

 

Came home n nudge my honey who was waiting for me. haha..

i don have to wait for the national tv..and i was glad. then when it was his turn to watch the race at 11.15pm..it was my turn to wait for him.

and so at those time, i just mind my own business.

i don mind waiting seriously..then later bout an hour so, he asked me to go sleep cos he felt guilty wanting me to wait..

but i insisted.

i went to my bed..n lie down. N somehow..i fell asleep without knowing tat i'm sleeping..

sad case!

 

The very next thing i realised was..its today morning!

i got up quickly and ran up to my laptop. I read the msgs my honey sent me and i only saw 1 nudge. got disappointed of course..thinking tat he would have wake me  up or something.

then i got myself ready went to uni.

came home..received offline msg from my hon saying that he did call..

 

when to check my phone 'received call' history..and indeed he did! my bet..sorry!

so i guess it was obvious am a pig.

he told me tat we chatted for 2 mins over the phone..  seriously.....not only i don remember..but i wonder if i did speak any nonsense..

 

Then during dinner time...my sis was telling me tat his colleague said tat i look like a 'kiddo'

 

i was like WTF..

am 23 dude!

 

not tat i dressed up with comic or cartoon character on my shirt or something..it was a plain coloured dress god damn it...

 

just bcos i was short..tiny....small in size...petite.....watever u want to call it. sigh!

how sad it is..am already a lady, but looking like a teenager..*shake head*

 

 

 

Finally my 1st semester had come to an end.and my very first unplanned penang trip with my YOng Mama n friends.

 

Friday 18th of May 2007: 9pm

 

My dad took us all (family) to ampang using smart highway. the newly built underground tunnel highway in KL for a few purposes..cars and water from the KL city linking to tmn desa lake.

the toll will be highly expensive with the min of Rm2 at least.

 

Reached Bukit Indah at 9.36pm just on time before my yOng Mama oy oy. I had to stay over cos we are departing KL very early in the morning.

Kissed mum goodbye and wished my siblings g'bye..

 

was sitting on the sofa watching astro till 10.30pm then finally went up to my boyfriends' room, got myself ready to sleep and then send last sms to my honey and then slept at about 11pm.

Didnt quite slept well.

 

Saturday 19th May 2007 : 4.45am

 

Yong mama knocked on my door to wake me up, was still blur and finally decided not to get my hair washed. had a quick shower, packed my luggage and went downstairs.

 

Made myself a cup of Milo and ate a biscuits even when am not hungry. waited for aunty annie to pick us up at 6am.

 

She was late for 10mins tho. but its ok, we are still early. Waited for the bus at least 20mins and then got ourselves nice seats.

the coach was luxurious and confortable. lots of leg room and beautiful seats.

the air conditioner was extremely cold..

 

depart from KL at 7 ish. Took the sg buloh highway.

had a short ice breaking session n karaoke session too..

 

me on the other hand was just on my Ipod listening to my own songs.. slept most of the time.

 

had a short break at the tg malim rest area to have our tea break before heading to Bukit Tambun for lunch. The moment we step out from the bus, we could feel the heat. It was hot and sunny, n there's flies all over the restaurant floor..i lose my appetite tat right instant.

 

After Lunch, the tour bus went straight to Kedah to the Jati rice factory. we had a short demonstration of how rice are being processed. and we too have some souvenier goody bags which are, a notepad, a pen and a compact brown rice.

 

then we head to the rice museum to enjoy tis so called' fascinating' piece of art. We had to queue up in order to get ourself to top floor.

the special art are oil painted landscape drawings. With the revolving floor we could sit down and just enjoy the 360 degree mural drawings.

 

After finish looking we went back to the bus and head to Penang. Our first stop to penang was Bukit mertajam to st anne's church. it was amazing..

 

thanks to the driver, uncle kok and aunty helen. and of course my yong mama..

 

At bout 8pm we had our dinner at the famous hawker stalls in penang. Not the gurney drive tho. Lots of varieties..

assam laksa, rojak, pork satay, fried pork intestine porridge, cendol etc u name it...

 

after dinner we had to our hotel Crystal Jewel hotel in Batu Ferringi. Checked in..got our respective room keys, ours was room no 1414.

 

went up to our room, unpacked our luggages, bathe, chit chat on the phone for awhile n we then call it a day!

 

Sunday 20th May 2007: 6.03am

 

My bf's mum woke me up to watch the sunrise with her friends. Got myself ready as in just brushing my teeth and washing my face and then got changed into my pants and tshirt and met them at the lif lobby. We then went to the Grd floor where the cafe and swimming pool are located..

 

unfortunately the little gate access to the gate are lock for safety purposes. The sky is still dark and i could hear the wave washing up the shore..it was awesome. while waiting, i just stood there whereas the other aunties did some short warmup exercise.

waited for about 30mins or so n still noone open the gate for us, and so we decided to go have our breakfast first.

 

Buffet style breakfast..not much variety. The same food i eat in all hotel. Then when we are finally done, we went down to the beach for awhile to feel the warm sea water.

I've never felt so relax for such a long time..  

didnt get to collect any seashells cos we ran out of time. we went back to our respective hotel room to get bathe. Then departed from the hotel at 9.30am.

 

our first morning destination was to tis souvenier stalls in penang. Varieties of soup, n so i got a packet for mum, then not to forget the famous nutmeg.

the Tau sah Pheah too..It started raining heavily! But was lucky to get on the bus in time before getting drenched.

 

Then to a chinese restaurant for lunch. The rice was not properly cooked and so i just had some veggies. Moreover, its still early..and am still full from breakfast.

 

Our next stop was to kek lok si. it was only drizzling and so much so..i had my own umbrella in my bag. Got out from the bus, walk up slowly to enjoy the souveniers stalls. got myself 2 unique ring. The weather got better...it was hot again, and since the stalls are on both sides of the covered walkway, the place are really bad ventilated..

 

decided to go back to the car, for the tourguard already ask to meet up back in the bus at 2pm. We were a little late, but we are the latest tho.

most of them didnt want to go to the temple, but they went for the famous air keroh assam laksa and cendol.

 

Then we depart from penang to Ipoh for our last stop -DINNER.

slept my way to Ipoh..then finally we reached Ipoh Garden, chinese restaurant 'kok thai' for our canton sytle dinner.

it was delicious. I didnt expect to be so happy to be back in Ipoh.

N yea, i enjoyed my last dinner..it was delicious!

 

At bout 7pm we depart from Ipoh n back to KL.

Reached Ampang at bout 10.30pm.

 

Finally am home! tired..but happy cos i accomplished my mission.
